It's crazy to me how much your creativity opens up when it comes to making a self-portrait. There's no direct way you can imagine yourself. So at this point, you're able to open up what you see yourself as within your mind and copy that image down, without anyone telling you that you did it incorrectly. In this week's class, our goal was to create a self-portrait. In the self-portrait, you had to use what we learned in class about Csikszentmihalyi and his Ten Dimensions of Complexity. For my portrait, I decided to implement the alternative between my imagination and fantasy, and a rooted sense of reality. I often find myself deep in thought, with my imagination and it takes me to a different reality almost, whenever I'm so deep into my imagination. Yet, I know already that I can't really express the many thoughts in my mind into reality because of many factors; being judged, the thoughts not being realistic enoug...
